Hey Meghan, I wanted to just tell you the place I was talking about is Branford Manors in Groton, CT.. I doubt there's much info online but I'm not sure. But what happened w/ BM is the single mothers move there from different areas. Then the boyfriends/baby daddies come there to visit who are also from different areas..and most of the time they don't mix very well. Low income housing is definitely a messy/hard job, but it's def an important one. If you're proposing a place where single mothers who just lost their homes are to go, they'll most likely be from different areas, and this could create a really dangerous situation - this is your challenge. So if boyfriends or whatever start coming there, what could be done to keep it a safe place? (kind of a weird thought..but even think if you were a pimp..where would be a better place to go than a place where you know there are single mothers who are going thru financial crisis). I'm jst saying this because I've known 1 person who was killed at BM and another seriously hurt. There's always cops around there but bad things seem to never stop.
